Getting Started
This API allows you to retrieve transactions which have been settled by your merchants. This can be used for several tasks, such as automated reconciliation and MI reporting. Once you have access to the API, any new merchants who you request to be boarded to the DNA Payments Acquirer will automatically become available.

This API solution is only available to you if you process transactions through a DNA-acquired solution.

Settlement Process Overview
There are two key steps to our settlement process:
- The
bankingDate- the date we start the settlement process. - The
settlementDate- the date that the partner/merchant receives their funds.
The time between the banking date and the settlement date will vary dependant on the specific arrangement in place:

The DNA Payments settlement process starts at around 3am UK time and includes transactions processed between 00:00 and 23:59:59 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) for the previous day. Funds are settled after this time, on the appropriate day depending on the arrangement as above.

These processes only take place on business days. On Weekends and Bank Holidays, no activity takes place. The bankingDate or settlementDate cannot occur at the weekend or on a Bank Holiday.
The below table shows how the process works when a merchant is configured for T+3.
