A note about our Release Types​

We have 4 levels of release:

  • Foundation Release - a version which is the minimum standard across our entire estate.
  • General Release - a version we have very high confidence in, which is deployed to all new terminals and is recommended as a target update.
  • Limited Release - a version we have newly released, which has been fully tested and certified for live use, but is not yet deployed to new terminals.
  • Superceded Release - a version which is a previous Limited Release but was never promoted to a General release, typically because of an issue with it that has been resolved in a newer release.

We do not yet have a valid Foundation Release for axept® PRO. We expect the current Limited release, V52, to ultimately take on this status at some point in 2024.

The merging of Weblink with the Launcher means any releases after this point will need a new, specific application deployed with it to make sure that Weblink behaves correctly for that terminal.
